Inspired by her travels and obsession for collecting trinkets, Maddie Chesterton - owner of West London boutique Baar & Bass - has cultivated an oasis on the King's Road that’s flush with luxury designer brands you won’t find anywhere else.
With an eclectic mix of furniture such as the Klimt mosaic bar, handmade wall feature and murals painted by Chelsea Arts Club artist, Tony Common; Baar & Bass is both lifestyle boutique and interior design destination where everything you see can be bought.
Maddie's background in set-design seeps through the layout of the store with the ingenious use of every corner to draw out her unique items such as an Ekaterina Kukhareva dress, Ellie Lines printed blouse or her collection of Finlay & Co. sunglasses. Especially prevalent too, is the use of colour throughout the store, catching your eye and spoiling you for choice on where to even start.
